Sign the disclaimer form at the beginning of the dive tour.

All divers must provide their height / weight at the time of booking to ensure we bring the proper equipment. For safety reasons, all divers must understand the instructions in English and be able to communicate with the dive guide in English.

Age limit: minimum 18 years.
Weight limit: 50-120 kg

If you are not very sure about your abilities regarding diving in Silfra, we recommend booking the snorkeling tour in Silfra. Snorkeling is a fantastic experience and there is no better place for it than the wonderful waters of Silfra. If you do not have a car but would still like to go, there are snorkeling tours leaving from Reykjavík. So either way, don't miss out on a chance to swim between a continental divide.

Participants should feel comfortable in the water and dive well. If you are pregnant, you cannot participate, due to the small risk of cold water entering the suit, nor can you participate if you are not able to walk 150 meters with all equipment to the entry point and then 400 meters from the exit stairs to where the tour began.

The drysuit closes at the neck and wrists, preventing glacial water from entering. Being quite tight, if you are claustrophobic, it could be a bit uncomfortable. Outside temperatures in Iceland can be quite cold. Keep in mind that you will be spending up to 5 hours outdoors, so dress accordingly and make sure you are warm.

Participants cannot wear jewelry of any kind in the water, as sharp items can break the drysuit. There are no changing rooms at Silfra, so we recommend not bringing any valuable items that are not needed for the excursion.

If you have any kind of medical condition, check with us before booking this activity.

What should I bring? In addition to the dry suit certificate, you must bring long underwear, thick socks and clothing suitable for the weather of the day (trekking clothing such as waterproof pants), good trekking shoes, gloves, light hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera and water).
